
A common refrain amongst the arts community in Bradford was always the lack of a space to show their work. So, when Fabric spotted the opportunity to create a new, albeit temporary, gallery space in the heart of the city centre we seized it.
Originally envisaged as a short-term project, the Pop Up arts space has been open to the public since June 2010 and has provided a valuable addition to Bradford’s arts venues.
Pop Up has also brought thousands of visitors to Bradford’s Centenary Square during the construction of the City Park and provided opportunities for interns and volunteers to acquire new skills in curating exhibitions.
